On 10 December 2010 the Society for Voluntary Control of Fair and Exhibition Statistics (FKM), based in Frankfurt/Main, confirmed the chairman and his deputies in office. For the next three years Wolfgang Marzin, Chief Executive Officer of Messe Frankfurt GmbH, will remain Chairman of FKM.
Egon Galinnis, Chief Operating Officer of Messe Essen GmbH, will remain in his post as First Deputy Chairman of FKM. Johann Fuchsgruber, Chief Executive Officer of Messe Erfurt GmbH, was elected Second Deputy Chairman.
67 German trade fair organisers and two guest members from abroad currently belong to FKM, which audits exhibitor and attendance figures according to uniform criteria, thus ensuring a transparent trade fair market.
