On 01 July 2021, Hendrik Hochheim (50; r.) took over as Managing Director of the Society for Voluntary Control of Fair and Exhibition Statistics (FKM), Berlin. He takes on this task in addition to his functions as Head of the Trade Fairs Germany Division at AUMA and as Head of the Institute of the German Trade Fair Industry. Hochheim succeeds Harald Kötter (66), who retired on 30 June 2021. Harald Kötter had been managing the business of the FKM since 2006, having already served as deputy managing director since 1996.
The FKM is the only organisation in Germany for the certification and publication of trade fair data. Every year, 45 organisers together have around 200 trade fairs and exhibitions certified by the FKM auditing organisation. Chairman of the FKM is Klaus Dittrich, Chairman of the Board of Management of Messe München GmbH. 1st deputy is Britta Wirtz, Managing Director of Karlsruher Messe- und Kongress-GmbH, 2nd deputy Constanze Kreuser, Managing Director of RAM Regio Ausstellungs GmbH Erfurt.
